Galaxy Evolutionary Synthesis Models
help you understand your data on star clusters and galaxies from the early universe until today in terms of their relevant physical and chemical properties and their evolutionary state.

Published in A&A 401, 1063–XXX (2003) (astro-ph/XXXXXXXX)

Changelog

29. 7. 2005: corrected a bug in the emission line routine
13. 6. 2007: corrected a bug for the Scalo models
added models for Kroupa01 IMF
implemented larger set of input spectra
minor changes in spectra selection
change in lower mass limit
minor technical changes
28. 10. 2007: added Geneva models, with consistent lower IMF mass limit = 0.1 Msun
Attention: Geneva models have variable time steps!
Padova models are unchanged, only directories are renamed
Added tarballs of all models, one tarball also contains magnitudes with extinction applied

Recent updates:

13th June 2007 The data from the 29.07.2005 release can be found here
28th October 2007 The data from the 13.06.2007 release can be found here
Comparison between 2005 and 2007 updates (postscript file)

Tarballs:

Download (440MB) Models (magnitudes, masses, spectra) for all metallicities/isochrones, but no extinction
Download (1.5GB) SSP models(magnitudes, masses, spectra) for all metallicities/isochrones and Calzetti/Cardelli extinction laws (E(B-V) = 0...1 in steps of 0.05 mag), in a single BIG tarball

The file naming conventions and formats are described in the following README-files

 README.ps  README.txt
